2. What the app does
The app performs carpentry calculations on your device. You do not create an account with us. We do not operate a user database for this app.
3. Information stored on your device
The app stores locally (Android DataStore), not on our servers:
- preferred measurement system (imperial / metric)
- number of free calculations used
- whether Full Version has been unlocked
If you enter dimensions, they stay on the device unless you share them yourself. Uninstalling the app removes this local data.
Android backup (if you enabled it on the device) may include app data in the backup chosen by you and the operating system. We do not run a separate cloud backup.
4. Internet access
The app requests the Internet permission only to talk to Aptoide Billing: product price, purchase, restore, and optional Aptoide sign-in. We do not use this connection to upload your calculator inputs.
5. Payments
The one-time Full Version purchase is processed by Aptoide, not by our servers. Payment details are handled under Aptoide’s own terms and privacy policy. We only receive from Aptoide whether the full_version product is owned, so the app can unlock Calculate without limit, Share, and PDF.
6. Optional Aptoide sign-in
Sign-in, if you use it, is provided by Aptoide’s billing SDK so you can restore a purchase. We do not receive your Aptoide password.
7. Share and PDF
If you export a PDF or share results, the file is created in the app cache and handed to the Android share sheet. We do not upload that file to our servers. The app you pick (email, Drive, etc.) has its own privacy rules.
8. What we do not do
This app does not include ads, Firebase, Google Analytics, crash reporters, or social SDKs. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your calculations for advertising.
9. Children
The app is a professional/hobby tool. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal data.
